During the month of May, 91 participants at St. Francis Xavier Parish, Cresson, PA (Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown) completed the self-guided retreat using the book 33 Days to Morning Glory by Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC.
This month of prayer and reflection, organized by the parish's Ss. Martha & Mary Circle, included weekly group sessions led by Fr. Leo Arnone, Fr. Paul Robine, Sr. Mary Joseph, SSCJ and Bob Sutton, concluding with a Marian Consecration ceremony on May 31st.
The majority of participants were from St. Francis Xavier Parish, however there were also parishioners from St. Aloysius Parish, Cresson, PA as well as from Altoona, Ashville, Gallitzin, Lilly, and Johnstown.
This was truly a grace for all participants who consecrated themselves anew “to Jesus through Mary.”

Charlotte (NC) Catholic High School now use 33 Days Consecration in their curriculum
33 Days to Morning Glory, May 27, 2015
The students spent 10 minutes each day for 33 school days preparing to make their Marian Consecration. On day 33 the students gave the reason for wanting to make this Consecration, I have included some of their thought in between the pictures.
CLICK HERE for video of Consecration and May Crowning!
Thank you for promoting this consecration, some day we will all see how perfectly Mary has fulfilled her mission, which is to form Christ in us. Our Chaplain, Father Matthew Kauth stressed with the students that Jesus commanded us from the Cross to "Look" to Mary, "Woman, behold, your son" Then He said to the disciple, "Behold, your Mother."
Father Gaitley has made it possible in his simple but profound "Do it yourself" retreat" manual, that now each year, it is part of the curriculum for April and May of the Second Semester. A truly essential component in the religious training of our young people.
Sincerely in Christ,
Sister Agnes Cousins

Group in Largo FL consecrates
Pilar Navales led a group of 20 from St Matthew Catholic Church in Largo FL to consecrate on May 13, 2015, the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. Fr. Tom Anastasia, pastor led the consecration ceremony with Fr. Paul Mangiafico and Deacon (now Fr.) Anthony Ustick.
Some in the group listened to the 33 Days to Morning Glory podcast, in addition to the reading and group meetings. Pilar said the podcast was very helpful. CLICK HERE for podcast links.

Pilar called the consecration "a very rewarding experience for her and her husband." She also said she would like to continue in helping more people at her parish to consecrate.
This is a key part of the what many parishes are doing for the Year of Mercy as called for by Pope Francis beginning December 8, 2015. CLICK HERE for parish plans for Year of Mercy.

If you'd like to lead a small group like Pilar, just contact me. I'd be glad to help you get started. Julie Musselman 727-709-8649 jkmuss@gmail.com

Planting Morning Glory flower seeds while preparing for consecration
From Maggie Smith who is in a small group at Christ the King Parish in Tampa, FL:
I was at Home Depot thinking how our hearts can often be just like hard little seeds with an impenetrable sheath, but if we plant them in fertile ground, water and provide sunlight, a beautiful, beautiful flower begins to grow. So too can our hearts and souls grwo when we provide the right nourishment.
I
decided to plant some Morning Glory seeds as we go through the 33 Days to Morning Glory retreat
at our parish. I like looking outside and thinking we are all growing
right along with them:) I also like having the visual reminder of what I personally hope to accomplish with this retreat.
We passed around the packets at our small group meeting. It's a very small gesture but they seemed to like it and I think it makes a great point.

Mississippi parish goes through Consoling the Heart of Jesus retreat
About 85 souls from St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport, MS consecrated to Jesus through Mary last year with Fr. Michael Gaitley's 33 Days to Morning Glory retreat. As with most 33 Days groups, those in the retreat wanted to continue learning more and so then began Fr. Gaitley's second retreat Consoling the Heart of Jesus. The new "Consolers" concluded their study by celebrating mass together on April 12, Divine Mercy Sunday.
If you or your parish have consecrated with 33 Days and would like to find out more about Consoling, just contact me! I'd be glad to help you start the Consoling the Heart of Jesus retreat with your friends or parish. It is a 10 retreat and ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL.
If you wonder what's next after Consoling, I'd be glad to tell you about Wisdom and Works of Mercy. Now is the Time! All of these retreats fit in beautifully with the Year of Mercy Pope Francis has called to begin December 8. CLICK HERE for a Year of Mercy Parish Plan using Fr Gaitley's retreats.

Fr. Steve Ryan and group at Mary Help of Christians consecrate
March 25, 2015 a large group of parishioners at Mary Help of Christians Parish consecrated to Jesus through Mary using the book and retreat materials for 33 Days to Morning Glory by Fr. Michael Gaitley. Mary Help of Christians is a Tampa, FL Salesian run parish and retreat center. Their pastor, Fr. Steve Ryan is on fire with the Holy Spirit and has a deep love of Our Lady.
Kay Conroy led the group. When I asked Kay for a quote about her experience with leading the group she said "I think that what means the most to me is that they want more! They actually wanted to all come back the next Monday! It's that fire that we need to keep burning."
Many of those recently consecrated will begin the next retreat Consoling the Heart of Jesus.
To get your group started, just call me! I can help with ideas, best practices and ordering

96 Souls Consecrate in Cleveland, Ohio
On March 25, 2015 the Feast of the Annunciation, 96 parishioners from St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cleveland, Ohio were consecrated to the Blessed Virgin Mary using Fr. Michael Gaitley's book 33 Days to Morning Glory.
Leader Matthew Lewis writes "After leading five 33 Days consecration groups in parishes throughout this diocese, I am really beholding what I pray every day in the consecration prayer, "Let me be a fit instrument in your immaculate and merciful hands for bringing the greatest glory to God." I am witnessing how Our Lady is using me to bring others to her.
My joy, my reward is to see all the excited hearts at the weekly classes. I see a great hunger within these parishioners, but also I get to see them happily being fed! "Hearts Afire Parish Program" is such an apropos name."
St. Patrick parish incorporated many of the Marian Apparitions in their small group as well as joining together for mass, song and rosary.
The Hearts Afire Parish Program begins with the 6 week 33 Days to Morning Glory retreat where people consecrate their lives to Jesus through Mary. Next groups go to the Consoling the Heart of Jesus 10 week retreat where they learn about Divine Mercy and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Then they complete this "lay formation" program by doing Wisdom and Works of Mercy (WWM) over 10 to 14 weeks. WWM uses two books The 'One Thing' is Three and You Did It To Me. In this retreat, participants learn about the Holy Trinity and how it impacts EVERYTHING. Then they learn how they can go about doing the corporal and spiritual works of mercy with You Did It To Me.
All the books and retreat materials are written by Fr. Michael Gaitley. I would be glad to talk with YOU and help you start these amazing retreats at your parish!
