Youtube videos and parking lot signs promote 33 Days at Florida parish

Something visibly exciting is going on at St. Raphael Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, Florida. 33 Days to Morning Glory consecration organizers, Marybeth Finster and Lisette Shields are using creative ways to connect with parishioners and school families as a group of about 100 reads 33 Days November 29 through January 1.

The first step was to greet the group with the sign "Come, Holy Spirit, Living in Mary" as they enter for their weekly meeting.

Then, the daily prayers are displayed on signs at the school car line. The car line is where the parents line up to pick up their children at the end of the school day~
at 3pm, divine mercy hour:)
The 33 Day organizers are also using new media to spread the word and keep everyone up to speed during the 33 days retreat. Fr. Kevin Mackin, OFM,  associate pastor of the parish, has been recording YouTube videos to welcome and encourage participation.

Marybeth Finster commented," I personally feel the “tug of war” between the distractions of the day and what I should be meditating on. This helps me stay focused and on track."

More details to follow as this dynamic parish moves forward to January 1 Consecration.
