St. Lawrence group to begin 33 Days to Morning Glory July 13

Mary Kennedy is leading a group at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Tampa to consecrate to Jesus through Mary on August 15. She is excited to have 15 people already say "yes." If you would like to join the great folks at St. Lawrence or start your own group, please contact me at jkmuss@gmail.com

July 13 and July 20 are both upcoming start dates. Many people like to do a small group over the summer to get a feel for how it all works and then roll it out parish-wide in the fall/winter.

Consoling the Heart of Jesus by Fr. Michael Gaitley

Consoling the Heart of Jesus is now available from Lighthouse Catholic Media.

Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC, has given us a very special gift in his thoughtful and prayerful "Do-It-Yourself Retreat." He brings together several spiritual traditions and blends them in the pattern of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. We will find inspiration in the quotations from the saints that he gathers carefully and in his deep, but humble, understanding of the principles of holiness that they proclaim. This is a good way for a soul to begin the journey in responding to the call to embrace the Divine Mercy of the Lord.

Fr. Mitch Pacwa, SJ: "This book is a form of a weekend retreat accessible at the beginning stages of a simple way to holiness. These hearts are "restless until they rest in Thee, Lord," and this book guides them on a journey to resting in God."

St Sylvester Catholic Church Parishioners consecrate June 8, more groups to form!

Fr. John Kelly, Johanna, Betsy Bowser, Julie, Ryan, Manette, Diana.
By Betsy Bowser

I am so blessed to have been able to lead a 33 Days to Morning Glory group retreat at St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze, FL.  Above is a photo taken on our Consecration Day, Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, June 8, 2013.   We had two other members who were not available and consecrated privately:  Terri  and Pam.

Three of the people in this session have already (or are going to) contact others about 33 Days to Morning Glory retreats and I have been asked to do another group retreat for the parish with Consecration on October 7, Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.  This request came from the coordinator of our adult faith formation programs; she wanted the retreat just before the start of all the Adult Faith Formation programs beginning in October.

I will also be contacting other parishes in my area to encourage them to do the group retreats.

Thank you for this deeply spiritual program; it has so helped me to be in a relationship with Mary, my Mother.

May God continue to bless Fr. Gaitley, MIC, and the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception.

The One Thing is Three by Fr. Michael Gaitley now available through Lighthouse Catholic Media!

The One Thing is Three is written for everyone. The conversational tone has an appeal that invites the reader into the journey of life. I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves the Church and seeks a deeper understanding of her teachings. Filled with references to Vatican II and Blessed Pope John Paul II, this book will enrich your belief in God's plan of salvation, and your love of the Most Holy Trinity.

Dr. Peter Kreeft: "WARNING: This book is dangerous. It brims with wisdom and wonder, and with enthusiastic and infectious joy. This is the very best example I have ever seen of the "New Evangelization" in the form of a book for contemporary Catholics."
